Joining yarn is used when you have knitted some rows, and either have started to run out of yarn or you want to change the color. This will video will teach you how to pick up yarn from another ball to continue your pattern.

Oh thank u! I’m here trying to re-knit a barbie dress that went wrong on my first try and I ran out of yarn and found another ball of yarn to continue with. I had no idea how to pick up. Thank you sooo much for this tutorial. Now I can finally finish the dress and hopefully I get it right this 2nd try. Lol…;D
